**I have no idea what is going on with the image sizes -_-!!!**

Okay wow this is going to be so long so I apologize in advance. Firstly, I won all of this by entering a competition on Channel V. I have no idea how honestly, the question was “If you could meet MCR, what would you ask them” and I replied with “I would ask them how the deal with so many fans looking up to them as an inspriation, as I do myself” and somehow I won haha.

The Day of the show I was in the City and it was pouring down with rain all day. When Natalie eventually got into the City I started to walk to the train station, and as I was going down the escalators I saw two people in hoodies and one was wearing sunglasses. I seriously thought in my head “Hey, that looks like Mikey” then Gerard turned around (he was on the phone) and looked straight at me and as soon as I realized I phoned my friend and started freaking out haha. I didn’t go up to them though.

So in the City Natalie wanted to get them something and I had to buy a camera and stuff and eventually we brought a Giant Australian map and wrote their tour dates on it, in which you can see below! Obviously it doesn’t look that big photo-wise, but its bigger than you think.

We wrote messages on the top too, this was taken before & I don’t want to post what we wrote haha. Anyway with the map we circled the city’s they were going too and on the front we stuck a $50 Starbucks gift card there so they can enjoy lots of coffee! 

So yeah skip a couple of hours and then we got to the meet and greet, two people went up before us and I could hear them talking and just you know I generally having a heart attack. So much was going through my mind I had people texting me and calling and then all I heard was “Okay, youre next” and we went up and Gerard was just there going “Hello how are you!” and I just stood there smiling and went “oh my god.”

So I shook all there hands and I introduced myself to them all and they were so nice and smiling and introducing themselves. Then I basically went straight into it and said “I wrote you guys a letter” Gerard looked and said “Thank you so much” and put his arm out for me to give it to him. Of all of them, Gerard had to be the one to take it.

Then Natalie gave them the map and I just went “Yeah, we brought you a starbucks gift card because we know how much you like coffee!” Gerard and Mikeys face lit up and Frank said thankyou, Ray said something like “You know us so well!” then Frank opened the map over the floor and was really interested and was asking what we did on the map, one point he was kneeling down pointing at it and asking why they weren’t touring in the middle of Australia haha. Before he opened the map I said “Its really hard to fold!” and he just did it anyway and then gave it to someone to fold i’m pretty sure haha. They said thank you so many times!

Then Gerard asked if we had anything we wanted signed, so I told him I had my ticket from 2007 and because its like really delicate some of it was falling off (it basically did fall off after) and he was like “Oh its just holding on” then he ended up tearing it off ha. They all signed it and Ray said that it was cool that I brought it!

I told Gerard and Mikey that I thought I saw them in the City and they were like “Yeah we only went to get coffee, we didn’t stay out for long” (I saw them next to Starbucks haha) Then I asked them if they are having a good time and Gerard said “Yeah, we love it here.”

We told them we were going to Sydney to see them and that we saw them at BDO and Frank was really happy and said that he was glad we are coming to the actual shows. Then Ray said we should get a photo and again Frank was being a chatterbox haha was like “Yeah together separate it doesn’t matter” and then I was like oh wow where do I stand and Mikey told me to stand next to him. As I walked over and turned around I hit his back and I was just going “OH MY GOD IM SORRY” and he laughed and said it was okay and Ray was laughing too HAHA. So then we got this photo of course:

You can see Frank holding our map if you look closely! Then we said goodbye and I said that we would see them soon and they said definitely! and yeah that was it.

After that we eventually figured out where we were watching them from and we got our VIP passes that looked like this:

That got us onto the VIP balcony in which we could see the whole stage and it was brilliant. I took a few photos but I want to keep them for myself (sorry, im meaningful and theyre not that great anyway!)

Then well, the show started and oh my god I dont even have words, they were brilliant and everything was just going through my head. The setlist was amazing and they played Sleep, which is one of my favorite songs. Thank You For The Venom and Cemetery Drive were also highlights, which was amazing. They had a dead mic and they were still doing weird gestures ha it was so funny! Ray would point at his mic and then point into the sky.

During a few songs Gerard looked over and pointed at us, I spent 99% of the time screaming every lyric right back to them.

Then of course all of my emotion from the day started pouring out, at one point Gerard was talking about how they are in this band for life and yep, tears. I also cried during The Kids From Yesterday, Famous Last Words, I’m Not Okay and Helena. They were all for very personal reasons that I really don’t want to write here.

After the show, I spent so long crying. I actually broke down as soon as they came of stage and burst into tears, my friend who was on barrier got Frank’s Pick so now I have two as she forced it upon me. I worried alot of people with my crying breakdown haha.

During the show all I could think in my mind is that I am so happy right now, and I was, I couldnt stop smiling. This night meant to much to me and all my dreams had come true since I was about 12 years old, it all comes so close to heart and is so sentimental. It was a once in a lifetime, and it is something that I will never forget.

This band has made me into this person I am today, and no matter what I have been through this isn’t something that I thought would ever happen. I have nothing to say except that I am so grateful for this happening to me.

I started as an insecure twelve year old who liked Welcome To The Black Parade, five years later i’m here typing this today. Somehow, these things come true.

I realized that I am so lucky, thankful and this was the day that I realized that I am so happy right now, I am so proud to be who I am and its all because of them.
